1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Weavernote, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us of any unauthorized use

3. Subscription and Payments

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but we do not provide refunds for partial subscription periods.

4. Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you create and store in Weavernote. By using our service, you grant us a license to host and display your content solely for the purpose of providing our services to you.

5. Data Security and Encryption

Note bodies use browser-based encryption before saving:

Note-body encryption uses AES-256-GCM; titles and workspace metadata are handled separately
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
Encryption keys are derived from account information; this is not a zero-knowledge guarantee
Selected readable content is sent for server and provider processing when you request AI features
You agree not to attempt to circumvent or disable the encryption features
While we implement strong security measures, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of our service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Regular backups of your notes using our export feature are recommended.
